May Day, 2013

One year ago I wrote a post, titled “May Day”. It was about the origins of the commemoration of the so named Labor Day or May Day, May 1.

There are several reasons to link that post again:

– The calendar reason: May 1 is here once more, because, despite of the wish of some people, the world didn’t end on 21/12/2012 (December 22 and still here)

– The chance reason: It is a post that I like, and to link it this year again will let to be read by more people who didn’t read it the first time. Also, the neverending class warfare is even more active this year.

– The lazy reason: I haven’t got time this week to write another thing, and obviously to link an old post needs less work than to write a new post.
